Organisation of studies after the Winter Holidays

Dear members of TES community,

Please find hereby indications regarding the organisation of studies after the winter holidays following the instructions received from the Ministry of Education and Research.

Nursery
  • All groups will start on Tuesday 5 January 2021 following the usual study organisation.
  • The services of Precare and Aftercare are offered as usual.
  • Extracurricular activities are organised between Tuesday 5 and Friday 15 January 2021 as it follows:
    • Individual lessons at school.
    • Some of the group activities, for which no special equipment is required, at distance (all parents concerned will be contacted separately).
Primary
  • The pupils of P1-P4 start the studies at school from Tuesday 5 January 2021 following respective timetables.
  • The pupils of P5 remain in distance learning until Friday 15 January 2021 following their normal timetable. (The only exception is the pupils of P5FR who start their studies at school on Tuesday 5 January). The studies at school will start on Monday 18 January 2021.
  • The services of Precare and Aftercare are offered as usual.
  • Extracurricular activities are organised between Tuesday 5 and Friday 15 January 2021 as it follows:
    • Individual lessons at school.
    • Some of the group activities, for which no special equipment is required, at distance (all parents concerned will be contacted separately).
Secondary
  • All classes remain in distance learning the first week (05.01-08.01.2021) after the holidays following respective timetables.
  • The pupils of S7 will start their studies at school from Monday 11 January 2021.
  • The pupils of S1-S6 will start their studies at school from Monday 18 January 2021.
NB!
  • Consultations, support lessons and learning activities can be organised at school. Pupils and parents will be contacted separately by teachers.
  • The school remains open for all members of staff.
  • Please note that all persons need to wear a mask while being indoors (the school can provide masks when necessary). The obligation does not extend to children under the age of 12 or in case it is not possible to wear the mask for health reasons or due to the nature of the activity or other valid reasons.
  • Every person present at school must be healthy. If a person feels unwell during the school day, the school nurse must be contacted immediately!
  • The Government will assess the situation and review all restrictions not later than Thursday 7 January 2021. We will keep you updated.
