Organisation of studies from Monday 11 January 2021

Having considered and analysed the latest instructions given by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, and considering the learning needs of our pupils, the management has decided to open the studies in situ – in addition to Nursery groups, P1-P4 and S7 – for all P5 and S5 pupils from Monday 11 January 2021.

These decisions are based on the following information:

  • For P5: in local schools, the age corresponding to year 4 of the Primary school is the same as the P5 of the European Schools.
  • For S5: following the instructions given by the Estonian government, in local schools the pupils of grades 9 and 12 are allowed to come back to school in order to prepare for their exams. In European Schools, the exam years are S5 and S7. Therefore, those two levels will be allowed back to school from Monday 11 January, in order to revise at school with their teachers. The regular timetable will be followed in S5.

Please note that the presence at school is compulsory for the pupils and their teachers.
