TES closes on Monday, 16 March (COVID-19)

Dear TES community,

The Government of Estonia decided on Thursday, 12 March, to  close all educational institutions from Monday, 16 March due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This decision was taken in the afternoon during the Crisis Committee of the Estonian Government and will last until the situation returns to normal. The Government will review the situation every two weeks.

As a consequence, our school will close its doors starting from Monday and the teaching and learning will be organized on a non-stationary basis for an undetermined period. Specific instructions will be provided by subject and class teachers via e-kool (https://ekool.eu/index_en.html for M1-S5 classes) and via MySchool (https://tes.msm.io/login.php for S6-S7 classes).

Our school is open on Friday, 13 March and all lessons will take place as scheduled until 15:00. Please note that there will be no lessons, aftercare or extracurricular activities after 15:00. Starting from 15:10, all staff members will gather for an emergency meeting to prepare for weeks to come.

Please make sure that your children collect all their materials at school (textbooks, etc.) to continue their studies from distance. Starting from Friday evening it will not be possible to access the school building.

We will provide you with more detailed information tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding in these extraordinary circumstances.

Best regards,

Markko MATTUS
Director of the school
