
I am a passionate leader and teacher from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who came to Tallinn 14 years ago to start a new adventure, and along the way, found a new home.
My Qualifications & Experience
While this is my first year as Director of Tallinn European School, this is my 9th year as part of our wonderful community. I began my career at TES as an Art and English L2 teacher before becoming a Primary class teacher. I have held the roles of European Hours Coordinator, Primary Maths and DoW Coordinator, Primary Teachers Representative, and have been a member of our KiVa Team. During the 2021-2022 academic year, I held the role of Deputy Director for Nursery and Primary.
I earned my masters in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Tallinn University and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Making from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I have also completed leadership training through Develop Design and have certificates in Leading Schools and Leading People through Harvard Graduate School of Education online.

My main hobbies are spending time with wonderful family; writing, recording and performing with my band; riding my bike; and cooking.
