Ekaterina Kazakova

French Language Teacher

I moved to Tallinn in August 2021 and quite quickly found my happiness while working with children at TES, in the atmosphere of interest for learning, communicating and discovering different cultures.

I have worked as a teacher of French and researcher at a university for seventeen years. My passion is discovering languages and culture peculiarities that they reveal.

Graduated in Medieval literature, I am also interested in image of the city and cultural peculiarities and I have publications on these topics.

I have also worked at Alliance Française in Russia as a French teacher, DELF/DALF examiner and trainer of examiners.

In 2019 I learned the neurolinguistic approach for teaching foreign languages. It changed a lot my style of teaching, improved my work and made me happier in my professional life.

I love discovering children’s worlds by communicating with them and exploring different countries by books, researches or traveling.  I like my mornings in a swimming pool with my family, my coffee mornings or evenings with my best friends discussing everything we live, learn or read.
