I’m dedicated to helping students with different needs and learning styles feel successful at school. I take pride in being a passionate child advocate, empathetic counsellor and a kindhearted colleague.
My Qualifications & Experience
I’m a qualified Primary class teacher (1993), English ESL teacher (2002) and a Special Education teacher (2020). During my 20+ years of teaching experience, I’ve taught in both public and private schools, in Estonia and the USA, from primary school to university level. I’m currently teaching Autism Pedagogics at Tallinn University and I’m also an author of a series of English textbooks for Estonian schools (‘English Step by Step’ by Koolibri Publishers).
About me & my Hobbies
I love spending time with my family – my husband, three children and our first grandchild. I have a small vegetable patch in my garden and I love picking berries and mushrooms in summer. My main hobby has always been choral singing – I’ve participated in as many as 12 Estonian Song Festivals (so far).
